Software Engineer (AdServing)

Location: Full-time remote work within approved US states: California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington. Quarterly in-person team gatherings are expected.

Base salary: $141,000–$176,000 for all other cities and towns in approved states; $151,000–$188,000 for Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Boston; $165,000–$205,000 for the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Los Angeles/Orange County.

What you will do

• Build and maintain mission-critical infrastructure for serving ads across hirify.global’s product line.
• Ship production code multiple times a day and measure its impact on users and revenue.
• Develop backend services using Go and open-source technologies.
• Work with large-scale data stores and distributed systems.
• Apply risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong coding ability and solid computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
• Experience building large distributed systems or backend architectures.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work remotely from one of the approved US states and attend in-person gatherings at least once per quarter.
