TL;DR
QA & Automation Engineer (AI): Testing and improving web applications, backend workflows, APIs, integrations, and cross-system product flows with an accent on manual QA, analytical risk assessment, and AI-assisted automation. Focus on designing test coverage, investigating complex product behavior, and improving regression, release readiness, and quality processes.
Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Tel Aviv office

What you will do
- Create AI-assisted test specifications covering expected behavior, user flows, dependencies, edge cases, regression risks, and acceptance criteria.
- Review product requirements, designs, and workflows to identify gaps, usability issues, and product or business risks.
- Plan and execute manual tests for web applications, backend workflows, APIs, integrations, internal tools, and cross-system flows.
- Investigate product behavior using APIs, database queries, browser DevTools, logs, staging environments, and monitoring tools.
- Report defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, impact, and supporting evidence.
- Build and maintain AI-assisted automated tests and improve QA, regression, release-readiness, and documentation processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, Product Quality Engineer, or similar.
- Strong manual QA foundations, including test planning, test case creation, exploratory testing, regression testing, and bug reporting.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, backend workflows, integrations, and cross-system product behavior.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, ownership, curiosity, and ability to assess complex flows, dependencies, edge cases, and risks.
- Technical ability to investigate issues with APIs, database queries, browser DevTools, logs, staging environments, and monitoring tools.
- Ability to build and maintain automation with AI-assisted tools and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and Clinical teams.
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, enterprise SaaS, or regulated environments.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding, test generation, automation, QA process improvement, regression strategy, or release management.
