Senior Software Engineer (React Native)

What you will do

• Develop connected TV, mobile, and web application features using React Native across iOS, Android, Fire TV, and web-based CTV platforms.
• Design maintainable, reusable cross-platform code with abstraction layers for platform-specific requirements.
• Build unit and automated functional tests using Test Driven Development, Playwright, WebDriver API, and Appium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and ship new features.
• Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness across high- and low-performance devices.
• Maintain code quality, refactor applications, resolve bugs, and improve CI/CD pipeline automation.

Requirements

• Approximately 8 years of experience developing mobile and web applications.
• At least approximately 2 years of cross-platform React Native development experience, including React Native for Web.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and state management libraries such as Zustand, RTK Query, or Recoil.
• Experience consuming REST APIs in desktop and mobile applications.
• Strong experience with Git, JIRA, Agile methodologies, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills; a BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebase, DataDog, React web applications, Node/Bun, Next.js, or Hapi.
• Experience with NX monorepo architectures and automated testing.
• Experience with Reanimated or other animation libraries.
• Experience building React Native applications for Android TV, tvOS, and web-based CTVs.
• Game development experience with Lua, AI coding tools, or leadership experience on React Native projects.
