React Native Engineer (React Native)

Location: Fully onsite at the office in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation support is available. The posting header also lists Paris and remote, but the role description specifies onsite work in Lisbon.

Compensation: €56,000–€70,000 annually.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications with React Native.
• Implement features and improve user experience in collaboration with designers and product managers.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Integrate backend APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and follow current React Native best practices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional mobile development experience.
• Strong React Native and JavaScript skills; TypeScript is preferred.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or another state-management solution.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party integrations, automated testing, and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an onsite, cross-functional environment in Lisbon.

Nice to have

• Native iOS development with Swift or Objective-C.
• Native Android development with Kotlin or Java.
