Lead Frontend Engineer (React)

hirify.global operates a global material marketplace connecting architecture and design professionals with material brands through a B2B commerce platform.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the frontend architecture for the new MB3 platform.
• Translate wireframes and design mockups into interactive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces in collaboration with Product, Design, and QA.
• Optimize application code and UI components for performance, scalability, and high-traffic usage.
• Help decouple the frontend from CommerceTools and migrate it to a NextJS application.
• Build and maintain Playwright tests, UI component documentation, coding standards, and best practices.
• Define strategies and tools for SEO, site analytics, A/B testing, monitoring, and frontend engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of strong expertise with React and related libraries.
• Proficiency in HTML, React, CSS, and CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
• Ability to design complex, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles, accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to maintain high-performance services and collaborate effectively with designers and engineers.
• Master’s degree in computer science.

• Experience building e-commerce customer portals.
• Knowledge of CommerceTools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on rapid delivery.
