Global Site Engineer (Space Communications)

Location: Based at the headquarters in Los Angeles, California, with frequent travel to domestic and international ground-station sites

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 per year, plus equity and potential performance-based awards

What you will do

• Deploy antennas, power systems, racks, and related infrastructure at ground-station sites.
• Lead the design, production, and testing of electrical and mechanical ground-support equipment.
• Design site architecture, hardware, and deployment processes while optimizing speed and cost.
• Oversee live station operations, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Coordinate deployments with internal teams, contractors, network providers, and domestic and international partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant professional experience, internships, clubs, or engineering competitions.
• Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and collaborate with diverse teams.
• Hands-on field experience and proficiency with basic tools.
• Proficiency in CAD for mechanical modeling and drawing creation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the authorizations required under U.S. ITAR regulations.
