Senior Design Coordinator (Architecture) - Group (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Manage the delivery of allocated civil engineering design work packages against programme, budget, scope, and client requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary UK and overseas design teams with construction, procurement, contract, and stakeholder management teams.
• Establish project plans, resource allocations, forecasts, cost and revenue budgets, and project controls.
• Monitor design development, manage changes and risks, prepare progress reports, and chair design progress meetings.
• Support tender preparation, contract preparation, contractor appointments, construction delivery, and project administration.
• Supervise APMs, graduates, and apprentices while ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, CDM, and integrated management requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing design delivery programmes and budgets.
• Broad design engineering experience in infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and experience with NEC3 contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, ProjectWise and Bentley Systems experience, and professional institution membership.
