Location: Louisville, Kentucky, USA. Work model: Onsite.

Expected salary range: $52,279–$69,706 annually, including base salary and an annual incentive bonus. Final offer depends on skills, experience, and internal equity.

What you will do

• Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products against quality, safety, and performance specifications.
• Perform chemical and physical analyses using titration, spectroscopy, elemental analysis, attrition testing, and related laboratory methods.
• Operate XRF equipment with fluxer, titrators, atomic spectroscopy instruments, LECO furnaces, and ICP systems.
• Interpret, document, and communicate results while maintaining sample traceability and complete laboratory records.
• Troubleshoot anomalous or out-of-specification results, support quality investigations, and assist with corrective actions.
• Calibrate, verify, and maintain instruments while supporting test-method development, safety protocols, inventory control, and collaboration with production, QA, and R&D.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical technology, laboratory science, or a related discipline; equivalent laboratory experience may be considered.
• One to three years of experience in a quality-control, analytical, industrial, or manufacturing laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as XRF with fluxer, titrators, atomic spectroscopy, LECO analyzers, attrition-analysis equipment, or ICP systems.
• Ability to follow written procedures, interpret test results, troubleshoot routine laboratory issues, and maintain detailed documentation.
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety, standard operating procedures, quality systems, and calibration requirements.
