Capital Markets Associate - Sales (F) (Municipal Fixed Income)

Location: In-office role based within hirify.global's footprint; preferred locations are Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and New York, New York.

Base salary: $75,000–$150,000 per year, plus incentive compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance.

What you will do

• Support senior sales team members in executing municipal capital markets transactions.
• Work with trading desk and public finance partners as part of an assigned sales team.
• Perform financial analyses, conduct research, and prepare reports and transaction support documents.
• Coordinate due diligence, document processing, and industry and company analysis.
• Help develop client pitches and provide relationship support.
• Build knowledge of industries, clients, products, markets, regulations, and relevant systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, decision-making, and attention to detail.
• Experience or knowledge in financial analysis, investments, financial services, and sales.
• Must work in the office within hirify.global's footprint; Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and New York are preferred.
• Employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not available.

Nice to have

• Client relationship building, corporate finance, financial accounting, investment strategies, trading strategies, and equity trading systems.
• Series 79 license or other relevant financial industry licenses.

Hiring process

• Successful candidates must obtain the applicable FINRA licenses within 90 days of employment for the municipal sales role: SIE, Series 7 or 52, and Series 63.
• Candidates with a Series 7 license obtained before November 7, 2011, may use it instead of Series 52 where applicable.
