Principal, Corporate Strategy

Location: Mountain View, California; hybrid model with 2–3 days per week in the Mountain View office.

Base pay: $212,000–$287,000 annually in Mountain View; additional cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits may apply.

What you will do

• Structure projects and work plans for high-priority, growth-focused strategic initiatives.
• Provide thought leadership and set the intellectual agenda for Corporate Strategy and Development projects.
• Lead inclusive problem-solving sessions and cross-functional strategy and business-unit teams.
• Direct data-driven research and analysis to support growth strategies and business decisions.
• Author and deliver presentations, strategic plans, and communications to C-level executives, the CEO, and Board-level audiences.
• Build relationships with business-unit leaders, monitor competitive landscapes, and coach junior team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of total work experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm or in the strategy function of a respected operating company; MBA preferred.
• 2+ years leading teams of direct reports on high-profile strategic efforts.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like manner.
• Outstanding problem-solving ability with quantitative and analytical approaches.
• Ability to synthesize information quickly and structure concise, clear presentations for executive audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Experience managing relationships with high-profile business stakeholders during challenging cross-functional and cross-organizational projects.
• Strong project management skills, passion for excellence, significant-impact orientation, and openness to active developmental feedback.
