Operations Manager

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey, United States; on-site

Real estate and operating platform developing residential, commercial, and community-focused assets in underserved urban neighborhoods, while operating businesses across education, food and nutrition, and fitness.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority initiatives across real estate development, operating businesses, and new ventures from concept through execution and reporting.
• Evaluate new investments through research, data analysis, and execution planning, and develop insights on expansion opportunities.
• Build dashboards, reporting systems, operating processes, and scalable improvements across business entities.
• Support property and business-unit operations, including payables, receivables, accounting coordination, vendor relationships, pricing negotiations, and RFPs.
• Track the real estate portfolio and development pipeline, maintain project timelines, identify decision points, and drive stakeholder accountability.
• Develop and refine policies and systems while keeping ownership informed on key decisions.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in operations or consulting.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data and business metrics.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure with strong ownership, follow-through, organization, and attention to detail.
• Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-moving, high-expectation environment.
• Clear ambition to grow into a Director of Operations-level role.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
