Lead/Director, Platform Product Management - Data Platform & Operations

Salary: $117,600–$206,000 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead strategy, prioritization, and roadmap alignment across major internal platform capability areas.
• Own data platform capabilities covering ingestion, cross-cutting data services, the Enterprise Data Layer, data quality, metadata, governance, and source onboarding.
• Partner with engineering, AI Delivery, architecture, security, design, and product leadership to define investment priorities and deliver scalable platform capabilities.
• Establish decision frameworks and success measures for platform reuse, adoption, technical debt, developer productivity, delivery speed, and AI-first operating practices.
• Align executive stakeholders on platform direction, funding, dependencies, tradeoffs, and adoption expectations.
• Coach and develop a small team of platform product professionals and establish lean product management standards.

Requirements

• 7 or more years of relevant experience.
• Experience in product management, technical product management, enterprise platforms, data and analytics platforms, AI/ML products, developer platforms, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise data platform capabilities, including ingestion, Enterprise Data Layer, data quality, metadata management, source onboarding, and governance.
• Experience partnering with data engineering, architecture, AI Delivery, and engineering teams to deliver scalable platform solutions.
• Strong technical fluency across architecture, data, AI, integration, identity and access management, governance, developer workflows, and AI-assisted or agentic development.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and team development skills; healthcare data knowledge is preferred.
