Compliance Analyst Associate (Crypto)

Location: Buenos Aires, Palermo office; mandatory in-office presence four days per week. Remote work from anywhere in the world is available for up to 20 days per year.

What you will do

• Operate and improve AML, CTF, sanctions, financial crime, and transaction monitoring controls.
• Use Chainalysis to investigate wallets, transaction histories, transaction flows, alerts, and exposure to high-risk entities or services.
• Define hirify.global risk indicators covering sanctions exposure, mixers, high-risk jurisdictions, layering, obfuscation, rapid asset movement, wallet hopping, and network relationships.
• Maintain the travel rule program by monitoring, collecting, and securely transmitting required sender and receiver information.
• Work with Product and Engineering to design automated workflows for monitoring, alert triage, case management, wallet clustering, exposure scoring, and evidence gathering.
• Provide investigation guidance and training while contributing to internal hirify.global investigation standards and compliance technology architecture.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Compliance, AML, Financial Crime, KYC, Transaction Monitoring, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Chainalysis, preferably Chainalysis KYT, and hirify.global transaction investigations.
• Experience with KYC/CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring reviews, financial crime alerts, and evidence-based conclusions.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency transactions, hirify.global technology, and crypto financial crime typologies.
• Ability to work with developers and engineers to scope, build, and test compliance tools and workflows.
• ICA, ACAMS, CAMS, or another relevant compliance qualification.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Notabene.
• Experience or strong interest in AI/LLM tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
