Systems Architect Engineer (Python/JavaScript)

Location: Lexington, MA, United States; must live within 100 miles of Lexington and work onsite at least 60% of the time

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support full-stack software and technical programs.
• Define, describe, and implement program deliverables and functionalities.
• Apply modern software engineering techniques, programming tools, and support processes.
• Evaluate and propose open-source and commercial software, frameworks, and tools.
• Manage system configuration, troubleshoot systems, and support program managers and technical staff.
• Work across software development domains ranging from operating systems to networking.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree required; 10 years of systems engineering and systems architecture experience.
• Seven years of systems design and systems modeling experience.
• Five years of experience with JavaScript, Python, scripting, and software development languages including Python, Golang, or C++.
• Experience with DevOps processes, GitLab CI/CD, container technologies, Kubernetes, and scripting tools such as Ansible, TCL, or Bash.
• Knowledge of virtual machine introspection techniques, multiple programming languages, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
