Remote Mortgage Loan Officer (Mississippi)

Location: Remote from Mississippi; the principal residence and remote work location must remain physically within Mississippi. Some time may be spent working at a company office.

What you will do

• Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while meeting compliance requirements.
• Convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
• Build relationships with customers, hirify.global Preferred Agents, and local partners where applicable.
• Manage an active pipeline against service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations using CRM, loan origination systems, and data-driven tools.
• Coordinate with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to move loans efficiently and deliver consistent customer service through phone, email, and text.
• Maintain licensing, complete required education, follow market and regulatory developments, and participate in professional development; voiceprints may be collected, stored, and used for operational and compliance purposes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong emphasis on purchase transactions.
• Active NMLS Loan Originator status with state licenses or Loan Originator status under a federal bank license.
• Completion of the 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education and successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test—National Component with Uniform State Content.
• Physically located in and working remotely from Mississippi.
• Proven success originating purchase loans in either a high-volume, phone-based sales environment or an agent-centric referral model.
• Strong client service orientation, consultative sales skills, and deep understanding of the mortgage process.
• Ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment with defined KPIs.
• Excellent verbal communication, trust-building, time management, organization, and pipeline management skills.
• Proficiency with CRM, loan origination systems, and Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
