Senior AI Platform Engineer, Microsoft 365 & Copilot (3 year LTE)

Location: Seattle, WA, United States. Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States. Immigration-related sponsorship is not provided.

Salary range: $157,400 to $236 USD annually. For Seattle and Washington, D.C., the stated range is $173,100 to $259,7000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support AI-enabled solutions with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Graph, APIs, and enterprise connectors.
• Create reusable patterns for agents, retrieval-augmented generation, grounding, prompt libraries, workflow automation, human-in-the-loop review, evaluation, and safe action execution.
• Define governance and lifecycle standards for agents, copilots, automations, environments, access, sharing, monitoring, retirement, and support.
• Establish Power Platform engineering practices covering Dataverse, connectors, managed solutions, pipelines, connection references, environment management, and ALM.
• Improve Microsoft 365 data readiness across SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Exchange through permissions hygiene, discoverability, knowledge curation, retention, sensitivity, and information architecture work.
• Build operational practices for usage reporting, cost monitoring, auditability, incident response, service health, risk reviews, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in AI, software, cloud, platform, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI solutions, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, agents, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, or AI-enabled automation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Entra ID, PowerShell, APIs, or related Microsoft cloud technologies.
• Experience designing secure AI data access using least privilege, permissions inheritance, scoped connectors, identity management, auditability, DLP, and information protection controls.
• Experience with Power Platform governance and ALM, M365 data readiness, AI evaluation, monitoring, observability, feedback loops, latency, and cost optimization.
• Strong engineering judgment, documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate business and governance requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications in Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Security, AI, or Architecture.
• Experience in regulated or complex enterprise environments.
• Experience with ChatGPT Enterprise, Claude Enterprise, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Search, or similar agent and orchestration technologies.
