Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Seattle, United States

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 USD per year, plus a 5% variable annual bonus and potential RSU grant.

What you will do

• Develop cloud-based backend services that power user interfaces.
• Build APIs for partners and advertisers.
• Support frontend developers with UI changes.
• Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation and prioritization to coding and testing.
• Investigate new technologies and recommend solutions based on their value to the platform.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum sprint ceremonies and deliver quality software for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Java and MySQL.
• Knowledge of the Spring Framework and experience with REST APIs.
• Experience building applications on AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework such as React or Angular.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independence, and attention to detail.
