Salary: USD 100,000–160,000 base salary per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Support end-to-end evaluation and execution of strategic M&A opportunities, including acquisition screening, strategic analysis, negotiation, valuation, and integration.
• Help structure commercial partnerships with external parties, including minority equity investments.
• Build strategic cases, financial models, and valuations for corporate development opportunities.
• Conduct competitor and industry research to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
• Develop expertise across traditional and alternative asset management and wealth management sectors.
• Prepare strategy, performance, and competitive-positioning materials for divisional leadership, the Executive Office, and the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance.
• 1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in investment banking or equity research.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and technical abilities, including financial modeling and valuation experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to synthesize complex analyses into concise takeaways.
• Background in or strong interest in the asset and wealth management industry.

Nice to have

• Financial Institutions Group experience.
• Experience with Morningstar, Preqin, FactSet, Visible Alpha, or other market data providers.
