2027 Controllership Winter/Spring Co-op

Location: Remote or hybrid; position may be filled within any of the lower 48 U.S. states

Salary: $23–$50 per hour, based on geographic-specific salary structures and candidate qualifications.

What you will do

• Lead a self-directed continuous improvement project and support process automation initiatives.
• Review and update standard operating procedures.
• Assist with financial reporting, special projects, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory accounting schedules.
• Support risk and controls activities, including testing and reporting.
• Audit expenses, prepare escheat filings, and assist with tax return preparation and filing.

Requirements

• Current accounting student seeking practical experience through a winter/spring co-op.
• Interest in corporate accounting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, risk management, or tax.
• Must be able to work from within the lower 48 U.S. states.
• hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.
