Business Information Analyst - Credit Risk Analytics

What you will do

• Partner with business segments and management to understand strategic goals, define business issues, and identify analytical requirements.
• Translate business questions into data extracts, files, analyses, and enterprise business intelligence reports.
• Analyze customer, market, competitive, financial, product, and industry trends and present recommendations to internal audiences.
• Research changes in loan and deposit portfolios and explain their causes and implications.
• Act as a subject matter expert on customer data and integrations while supporting Client and Relationship Management hub business rules.
• Validate business needs throughout the business intelligence development and release cycle and collaborate with data management teams on data gaps and enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least four years of experience with detailed knowledge of the banking or financial services industry.
• Experience with bank reporting and profitability systems, reporting tools, and information delivery platforms.
• Advanced understanding of financial reporting and analytics, with strong analytical and database skills.
• Ability to work independently, solve problems, meet deadlines, and apply probability and statistical inference concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
