What you will do
- Develop core robotic technologies for cooperative and non-cooperative capture, docking, inspection, refueling, repair, life extension, and assembly.
- Build robotics simulation and testing capabilities and facilities.
- Define modular and scalable robotics products.
- Deliver robotic solutions against schedule, cost, and performance requirements.
- Define and execute validation, verification, and test plans.
- Interface with customers, partners, and subcontractors, and support proposal writing and robotics application programming.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in aerospace, engineering, mechatronics, physics, robotics, embedded electronics, or a similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in robotics, mechatronics, or embedded electrical engineering.
- Understanding of robotics foundation theory and motor control.
- Experience with embedded software and programming.
- Programming experience in Matlab/Simulink, Python, C, or C++.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the space industry.
- Comfort interacting with institutional and commercial customers.
- Familiarity with the full space program lifecycle, from business development and proposals through design, development, assembly, testing, and delivery.
