Senior Salesforce Software Engineer (Salesforce)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, United States; onsite Monday–Thursday with the option to work remotely on Friday.

Salary: $77,390.00–$127,139.75 base salary per year, plus potential incentive and retention awards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy scalable Salesforce business solutions.
• Build Salesforce applications and integrate the platform with existing systems, including MuleSoft.
• Create technical designs for document generation, external data management, validation rules, and workflow automation.
• Manage Salesforce administration, including users, profiles, custom fields, layouts, reports, and dashboards.
• Monitor hosted applications, analyze performance, support deployments, investigate incidents, and resolve platform issues.
• Mentor junior Salesforce developers and drive continuous improvement through code reviews, enhancements, and documented best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least five years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with complex projects, dashboards, interfaces, data, and system integrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, SOQL, JSON, and XML, plus experience with multi-system architectures and redundancy design.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Copado and Jira.
• Relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Builder.
• Must currently be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require current or future work visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Banking or financial services industry experience.
• Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and MuleSoft.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security best practices and data governance.
