Director/Executive Director, RMBS Structurer (RMBS)

Location: New York, NY, 300 Madison Ave Fl 5

Salary: $225,000–$300,000 annually for the New York, NY market, based on experience, qualifications, and location.

What you will do

• Oversee the full structuring process for non-Agency RMBS transactions from pitching through closing.
• Build Intex Deal Maker cash flow waterfalls and model sequential/pro rata payments, shifting interest, and deal triggers.
• Support rating agency analysis and size credit enhancements with the banking team.
• Validate that offering documents accurately reflect structuring assumptions and outputs.
• Run stress tests and scenario analyses covering prepayments, defaults, and loss severities.
• Coordinate internal model development and maintenance with transaction stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in RMBS structuring, securitization, mortgage analytics, or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of residential mortgage sectors and structures, including Non-QM, Investor, Jumbo, Agency Investor, and RTL.
• Advanced quantitative skills and strong Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Intex Deal Maker, Intex Calc, CAS, VBA, Bloomberg, and similar modeling platforms.
• Strong understanding of collateral analysis, cash flow modeling, rating agency methodologies, and transaction documentation.
• Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
