Intern Researcher Modeling (AI)

Location: HBP, Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work with at least one day in the office

Internship allowance: €700 based on a 36-hour work week

hirify.global is a banking organization where the Modelling Technology area implements risk models for the Credit Risk organization with business analysis and functional guidance from COO Risk.

What you will do

• Study the tensions and organizational changes introduced by agentic AI.
• Analyze the risks and opportunities of shift-left and shift-right approaches to AI-enabled work.
• Research industry studies and how other companies have managed the rapid introduction of AI.
• Evaluate target operating models and compare their advantages and disadvantages.
• Prepare a study presentation and present the findings at an ING town hall.
• Develop a practical guide for tuning the organization toward an AI-empowered operating model.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in IT Technology, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Python.
• Interest in the financial sector and large-scale business organizations.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, self-direction, and motivation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must remain enrolled at a Dutch university, or at an EU university if holding an EU passport, throughout the internship.
