Part-Time Instructor - Defensive Driving (Virtual NJ)

Location: Virtual role within New Jersey; classes may be held on weekends, weekdays, and evenings.

Salary: Starting at $35 per hour

What you will do

• Teach adult- and teen-focused Defensive Driving Course curriculum.
• Educate motorists on safe driving practices and driver safety.
• Lead effective classroom discussions for diverse groups of students.
• Support motorists completing state- or court-required driver retraining programs.
• Manage equipment failures, facility issues, learning or behavioral difficulties, and other class disruptions.

Requirements

• Experience with public speaking and classroom leadership.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
• Background in sociology, psychology, counseling, or education.
• Personal email address for communication through the Instructor Portal and DDC Information Highway.
• Ability to teach virtually within New Jersey.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
• Weekend availability.
