General Contracting Instructor

Location: Hybrid in Florida, with instruction primarily delivered remotely and occasional onsite work.

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver pre-licensing content in livestream and classroom settings.
• Teach exam preparation classes for Florida State Construction Licensing exams.
• Instruct Roofing and General Contracting courses according to approved course plans.
• Engage students, create a supportive learning environment, and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Evaluate student progress, mentor learners, and track performance or support needs.
• Participate in faculty and curriculum meetings and assist with course content updates.

Requirements

• Active Florida General Contracting license required.
• Prior experience teaching pre-license courses in the state of licensure required.
• Ability to teach in livestream, classroom, remote, and occasional onsite formats.
• Experience supporting student achievement and evaluating learning progress.
