Associate, Recovery (Loan Recovery)

What you will do

• Analyze delinquent loan accounts, review borrower financial information, and identify recovery opportunities and potential risks.
• Support collections by contacting borrowers, sending reminders, tracking payment commitments, and following up on missed payments.
• Maintain accurate records of recovery activities, communication logs, payment schedules, and related documentation.
• Prepare reports covering recovery progress, challenges, and key performance indicators.
• Coordinate escalations with senior team members or management when required.
• Identify process improvements to streamline recovery efforts, improve efficiency, and minimize losses.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of financial analysis, credit evaluation, and loan recovery techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately review and interpret financial statements and borrower documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with borrowers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency with financial software, databases, and Microsoft Office.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with laws, regulations, and industry practices related to loan recovery and debt collection.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; relevant loan recovery or collections experience may substitute for the degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in loan recovery, collections, credit risk management, or a related field.
