What you will do
- Manage the day-to-day credit and underwriting process.
- Review and manage credit escalations and referrals.
- Make underwriting decisions for clients not captured by the automated underwriting process, within an agreed limit.
- Support the development of consumer scorecards, underwriting policies, processes, and systems.
- Assess credit applications from consumers through larger corporate clients.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in credit assessment and underwriting.
- Ability to process and evaluate consumer and corporate credit applications.
- Ability to interpret client credit information, including accounts and KPIs.
- Knowledge of credit policies.
- Familiarity with automated credit decisioning platforms such as Lending Metrics.
