Associate, Lines of Defense – Early Career Development Program

What you will do

• Complete three eight-month rotational assignments across Business Controls, Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, and Internal Audit.
• Evaluate business processes, practices, and controls to identify risks, gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Support remediation planning, control enhancements, compliance monitoring, testing, issue tracking, and risk reporting.
• Assist with audit walkthroughs, testing, evidence analysis, documentation, and findings summaries.
• Translate complex information into clear reports, presentations, recommendations, and leadership-ready insights.
• Partner with stakeholders across business functions and participate in mentorship, networking, and leadership development.

Requirements

• Expected graduation between December 2026 and June 2027 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, management, data science, risk management, compliance, or a related discipline.
• Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, or similar programming languages through coursework, internships, research, or work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written, verbal, presentation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate information, identify trends, interpret results, develop hypotheses, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, build working relationships, demonstrate initiative, and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to begin full-time employment in June 2027.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Power BI or other data visualization tools.
• Internship, co-op, research, leadership, or work experience in finance, business analysis, compliance, audit, risk management, controls, data analysis, or related areas.
• Experience with analytical tools, reporting, process improvement, or documentation practices.
