Strategic Sourcing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States (Hybrid); minimal travel required, 10% or less.

Salary: $74,935.39–$112,403.09 annual base salary, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and benefits for regular employees working 20 or more hours per week.

What you will do

• Source, evaluate, select, and qualify components used in semiconductor manufacturing products and technologies.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between suppliers and internal engineering teams.
• Investigate alternate component technologies and suppliers to improve cost, quality, reliability, and supply continuity.
• Evaluate supplier change notifications and define qualification requirements.
• Develop and execute component qualification plans covering testing, validation, and documentation.
• Manage component lifecycles, mitigate obsolescence, and maintain technical qualification records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in sourcing, engineering, supplier quality, or a related discipline.
• Experience working with suppliers and component qualification activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Beverly, Massachusetts, with minimal travel.
