Business Systems Analyst Specialist

Location: Remote, United States; final-round interviews onsite in Chattanooga, Tennessee

What you will do

• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams across claims, finance, data governance, and enterprise projects.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements-gathering sessions, define project scope, document requirements, and identify current-state gaps.
• Recommend solutions for business issues and direct process-improvement projects for internal business groups.
• Assess system constraints, change impacts, business rules, and implications of proposed system changes.
• Lead requirements analysis and verification to ensure requirements are complete, consistent, traceable, feasible, and verifiable.
• Collaborate with technical and project teams and lead project roles or phases for small to large initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in information technology and systems analysis.
• At least 1 year leading requirements development efforts.
• At least 1 year of extensive systems analysis, design, and project management experience.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear information for business and project stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, presentation, facilitation, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and application or system integrations.
• Experience working in technical environments and facilitating requirements-gathering sessions.
