Dir, Innovative Enterprise Data Product Lead

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; approximately 20% travel required.

Salary: $185,500–$344,500 annual, plus performance-based cash incentive and potential annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and lifecycle management for enterprise reference data, master data, metadata, and data standards.
• Define innovative data products enriched with business meaning, semantic definitions, reusable metrics, metadata, lineage, standards, and clear consumption patterns.
• Partner with data enablement, platform, technology, analytics, governance, operations, and business teams to scale reliable enterprise capabilities.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, consumption models, and continuous improvement based on user feedback.
• Establish product standards, governance routines, intake processes, service expectations, and value measures.
• Monitor adoption, data quality, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes while influencing senior stakeholders and aligning enterprise investments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a Master of Science and/or MBA is strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, technology, data, analytics, consulting, or a related environment.
• 5+ years of specialized experience in reference data, master data, metadata management, data standards, data governance, stewardship, semantic models, product management, or AI-ready data foundations.
• Experience defining product vision, roadmaps, prioritization frameworks, use cases, adoption strategies, value measures, and governance routines in complex matrixed organizations.
• Strong understanding of semantic data products, business definitions, data quality, metadata, lineage, standards, stewardship, and AI-ready data consumption patterns.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, influencing, strategic decision-making, and cross-functional leadership skills.
