Project Manager IT

Location: Kinderdijk, Netherlands. Onsite role. Applicants must have nationality from a NATO member country.

What you will do

• Translate business needs and improvement ideas into clearly defined IT projects.
• Manage scope, planning, budgets, deliverables, resources, risks, quality, and project governance.
• Coordinate project teams across IT, business functions, and external vendors.
• Lead projects involving applications, integrations, identity and access management, lifecycle management, and enterprise systems.
• Provide steering information, maintain documentation, and ensure effective handover.
• Support portfolio management improvements and prepare business cases for new initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field, with relevant project management experience.
• Experience with application, integration, or system improvement projects and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Clear communication, stakeholder management, team coordination, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery approaches.
• Familiarity with planning, risk management, reporting, and change control.
• Fluent Dutch and English, plus nationality from a NATO member country, are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira or MS Project.
