Senior Project Manager R&D (MedTech)

Location: Veenendaal, Netherlands. Hybrid working with at least four days per week on location.

What you will do

• Lead multiple complex product-development and product-lifecycle projects within the Brachytherapy organization from initiation through delivery.
• Build integrated project plans covering milestones, budgets, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, scope, and delivery baselines.
• Coordinate hardware, software, systems engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, and commercial stakeholders.
• Lead project reviews, gate reviews, planning sessions, steering forums, and governance reporting.
• Apply SAFe/Agile, hybrid, or traditional stage-gate delivery approaches according to project needs.
• Integrate Design Controls, Risk Management, regulated documentation, regulatory strategies, submissions, audits, and readiness activities into project execution.

Requirements

• Significant project or program management experience in complex product development.
• Experience delivering multiple cross-functional projects involving hardware, software, systems, operations, or external partners.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile, hybrid, and traditional delivery approaches.
• Strong planning, forecasting, risk-management, financial-control, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, BigPicture, Planview, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field; excellent written and verbal English is required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience in medical devices or another regulated or high-reliability product-development environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe certification.
