Senior Accounts Receivable Analyst

What you will do

• Own advanced analysis of accounts receivable, revenue, billing, cash application, collections, and customer payment times.
• Design and improve scalable accounts receivable workflows, reconciliation logic, exception handling, and automation solutions.
• Partner with Data and Engineering teams to integrate NetSuite, billing platforms, data warehouses, and reporting tools.
• Build and enhance dashboards, KPI frameworks, management reporting, and performance narratives for Finance leadership.
• Prepare, validate, and post accounts receivable and bank-clearing journal entries in NetSuite, including adjustments, reclassifications, write-offs, allowances, accruals, and intercompany entries.
• Lead reconciliations, variance analysis, control improvements, audit support, and cross-functional Finance process initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, or Data Analytics.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, revenue, billing, collections, journal entries, reconciliations, close processes, and financial controls.
• Hands-on experience posting journal entries in an ERP system; NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle experience is preferred.
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills, including data modeling, reconciliations, variance analysis, and large dataset handling.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, and authorization to work in the country of application are required. Strong understanding of US GAAP or IFRS is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multinational, SaaS, marketplace, technology, or high-volume transaction environment.
• Big Four or consulting experience in audit, accounting advisory, transaction services, or finance transformation.
• Knowledge of tax reporting, intercompany transactions, revenue recognition dependencies, and international finance processes.
• Experience mentoring analysts, leading process workshops, or serving as an accounts receivable reporting and automation subject matter expert.
