Data Solutions Specialist (AI)

Provider of ethically sourced datasets and end-to-end data services for AI and machine learning model training, operating an AI marketplace with offices in Seattle and Lisbon.

What you will do

• Research and identify datasets matching customer requirements, including modality, language, geography, volume, quality, metadata, licensing, and technical specifications.
• Evaluate and compare marketplace and partner datasets, identify limitations, and recommend suitable alternatives.
• Communicate with data partners to clarify specifications, availability, licensing, pricing, quality, and geographic coverage.
• Support presales teams with RFPs, RFIs, proposals, customer questions, and dataset recommendations.
• Coordinate handoffs and dependencies across Presales, Partnerships, Operations, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate dataset, partner, opportunity, and communication records in the CRM and internal systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data, technology, operations, solutions, research, business analysis, partnerships, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, research, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable dataset recommendations.
• Experience with CRM systems and maintaining accurate records while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfort communicating with external partners and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Fluency in English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI, machine learning, data marketplaces, datasets, data licensing, or data services.
• Familiarity with audio, speech, image, video, text, or multimodal datasets.
• Experience in presales, solutions, data operations, partnerships, or data product environments.
• Experience working with data suppliers, vendors, RFPs, RFIs, proposals, metadata, licensing, or data quality concepts.
