Senior Software Engineer

What you will do

• Own all or part of the software design process from preliminary specification through verified software.
• Specify, design, implement, test, and maintain software supporting products and services.
• Develop software for new products and enhance existing systems according to commercial requirements.
• Apply engineering practices for software quality, testing, and verification.
• Provide technical support and advice to less experienced colleagues.
• Act as a technical liaison with customers, suppliers, collaborators, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of C++.
• Experience taking projects through the software development life cycle.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio 2022/2026.
• A relevant degree.
• Ability to comply with company operational, reporting, health, safety, and control procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with GUI/UX or HCI.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
