Senior Vice President, Counterparty Management & Administration

Salary: $250,000–$305,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Lead the global end-to-end counterparty onboarding process across products, strategies, and account structures.
• Oversee the setup, negotiation, amendment, and maintenance of ISDA, CSA, MRA/GMRA, MSFTA, prime brokerage, clearing, and other trading agreements.
• Coordinate KYC/AML, counterparty due diligence, tax documentation, withholding-tax investigations, and regulatory reporting setup.
• Partner with Portfolio Management, Account Management, Transitions, Collateral Management, Legal, Compliance, Trading, Operations, Tax, and external counterparties to support account launches.
• Lead complex onboarding initiatives, manage escalations and timeline risks, and ensure accounts are trade-ready before launch.
• Improve data governance, controls, automation, workflow optimization, reporting, scalability, and onboarding transparency while evaluating industry and AI-enabled solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of professional experience at an asset manager, investment bank, broker-dealer, or investment advisor.
• Deep experience with counterparty onboarding, trading documentation, derivatives, financing transactions, collateral terms, and clearing arrangements.
• Knowledge of the US Patriot Act, KYC, AML, account due diligence, Dodd-Frank, EMIR reporting, and related regulatory requirements.
• Experience with onboarding and documentation platforms such as S&P Counterparty Manager, ISDA Amend, FIA Tech DOCS, or similar systems.
• Experience onboarding counterparties across multiple regions and understanding local market conventions, documentation standards, tax requirements, and operational nuances.
• People management experience, including direct oversight, performance management, team development, and coordination of offshore and outsourced resources.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Copilot, SmartSheet, database systems, and other AI-enabled solutions.
