Product Design Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain; on-site role with the freedom to work from home two days a week

What you will do

• Guide and support a small team of Product Designers while working with UX Leads to shape Customer App strategy.
• Lead design projects and initiatives from conceptual definition through execution, addressing complex UX challenges hands-on.
• Collaborate with UX Research, Content Design, Data, Product, and Engineering to deliver cohesive, user-centered solutions.
• Manage stakeholders, business priorities, project scope, capacity, and resourcing needs.
• Mentor individual contributors and support their performance and career development.
• Drive adoption of the Design System and promote consistent design practices across projects and teams.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of end-to-end product design experience.
• Practical experience managing and mentoring Product Designers in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
• Strong understanding of business goals, product metrics, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and data-informed decision-making.
• Excellent spoken and written English, communication, stakeholder management, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience building and scaling hybrid component libraries and Design Systems across teams.
• Portfolio or team case studies demonstrating impact in consumer-facing apps and complex ecosystems.
