2027 Summer Intern - Trade Floor Operations Analyst

What you will do

• Gain structured exposure to the end-to-end investment trade lifecycle across Cash Desk, Middle Office, and Investment Operations.
• Manage and report client cash flows, support cash forecasts, and help address overdraft coverage and excess-cash investment needs.
• Support the control environment for daily trading activities and collaborate with Portfolio Management, Trade Support, Legal & Compliance, Operations, Technology, broker-dealers, banks, and clients.
• Contribute to technology-enabled process improvements, data analysis, reporting, operational controls, and workflow enhancements.
• Support securities processing, foreign-exchange execution, claim and break resolution, custodial oversight, and corporate actions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and enrolled at a university during Fall 2027.
• Available for the full-time 10-week internship from early June through mid-August 2028 and able to begin full-time employment at a hirify.global office between January and August 2028.
• Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, or equivalent, at an accredited four-year college or university.
• Business-proficient English is required.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and/or experience with Python, SQL, or VBA.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, organization, problem-solving, judgment, and attention-to-detail skills in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

Nice to have

• Coursework in finance, fixed income, data analytics, or capital markets.
• Experience using emerging technologies and AI tools to solve problems and improve outcomes.
