Inventory Control Assistant

Location: Malaysia; onsite plant work with core business hours during start-up and shift work as required

hirify.global is a medical device company developing the OmniPod insulin management platform and delivery systems for diabetes and other therapeutic applications.

What you will do

• Receive, verify, label, store, issue, and ship raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
• Enter material transactions into the ERP system and track movements according to standard operating procedures, FDA requirements, and cGMP procedures.
• Prepare shipments, shipping documents, bills of lading, kitting, palletizing, sterilization transfers, and carrier coordination.
• Perform visual inspections, cycle counts, variance reporting, stocking, FedEx processing, 5S, housekeeping, and material record updates.
• Coordinate material requirements and deliveries with Production and notify Quality about incoming inspections and findings.
• Handle scrap and waste according to DOSH guidelines while maintaining warehouse safety and equipment practices.

Requirements

• SPM, certificate, or diploma preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in distribution, receiving, or a manufacturing support environment.
• Experience with SAP or the ability to learn the SAP MM/WM modules; proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Malay and basic English required for reading documentation, communication, and writing.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and transfer loads up to 25 kg, operate pallet jacks, and stand and bend for up to 12 hours per day; a pre-employment medical fitness check is required.

Nice to have

• Valid forklift or reach truck license and stand-up or sit-down forklift experience.
• Medical device industry experience.
• Start-up production environment experience.
• Knowledge of ergonomic lifting techniques.
