Medical Director, Clinical Development, Solid Tumor Oncology (GYN Oncology)

Location: Onsite in Tarrytown, New York, United States. Travel: approximately 10% to relevant conferences.

Salary: $284,900–$385,700 annually.

What you will do

• Define clinical trial goals and objectives for solid tumor oncology programs, including ovarian cancer studies.
• Conduct literature and database research to inform clinical trial design.
• Oversee the medical and scientific supervision of clinical trials.
• Lead the Clinical Team in delivering high-quality program milestones on schedule.
• Collaborate with Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Trial Managers, and Therapeutic Area Program Managers.
• Participate in program meetings, scientific advisory boards, steering committees, and data and safety monitoring meetings while maintaining investigator relationships.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant research experience in industry or an academic research setting.
• Experience defining clinical trial goals, researching clinical evidence, and supporting clinical development programs.
• Ability to lead and supervise clinical teams and collaborate across clinical development functions.

Nice to have

• Oncology clinical fellowship training.
• Translational and/or clinical research experience in oncology.
