Lifestyle and Product Photographer

Location: Dallas, TX, United States; onsite in an in-house studio. The position may require 10% travel and flexibility to support changing production schedules.

What you will do

• Capture product and pet lifestyle photography based on creative briefs and brand standards.
• Execute assignments from pre-production through final capture, communicating status and escalating technical or production issues.
• Plan and operate studio lighting setups for in-studio and location shoots.
• Collaborate with Creative, Production, Styling, Pet, and Project Management partners, including technical scouts and pet teams.
• Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining image quality, color consistency, and brand consistency.
• Maintain and organize cameras, lighting, and other photography equipment while developing technical skills and following industry practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience, preferably in a commercial or eCommerce studio environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating product photography, lifestyle photography, and studio lighting techniques.
• Experience operating DSLR cameras and studio strobe lighting, plus proficiency with Capture One.
• Strong knowledge of lighting, composition, exposure, color management, and color consistency throughout the workflow.
• Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and creative-direction skills in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to lift and maneuver photography equipment, work from varied shooting positions, work with all pet types, and understand animal behavior.
