Technical Marking Director, Etch & Ion-Implant

Location: Hsinchu City, Taiwan; work is performed in hirify.global offices in Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, or the US. International and domestic travel of up to 25% is required.

What you will do

• Lead customer Process-of-Records mapping and track future dry etch and ion-implant requirements using Voice of Customer and market input.
• Coordinate cross-functional collection and analysis of competitor intelligence to guide business decisions.
• Support technical marketing initiatives, knowledge sharing, solution training, and new product introductions.
• Coordinate technical meetings with strategic customers and support value-selling activities.
• Contribute to near-term and long-term market assessments and strategy development.
• Engage customers globally to support NPI activities, technical meetings, and regional functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field such as chemistry, materials science, or chemical engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of semiconductor experience, including semiconductor fab-related technical or applications experience in dry etch and/or ion implantation.
• Understanding of semiconductor technology, Logic and Memory devices, process integration, or market analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required, including presentations to senior internal and external contacts.
• Experience with product, technology, or commercial strategy development.
• Strong technical and business judgment, data analysis, critical thinking, communication, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Seven or more years of experience working with leading Logic and Memory companies.
• Experience in semiconductor fabrication, materials, or equipment, or in an international specialty materials or chemicals manufacturing company.
• Advanced STEM degree.
