Analytics Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, California; on-site

Salary: $160,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Design and maintain canonical datasets that serve as sources of truth for company-wide metrics.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines for analyzing petabytes of web search data.
• Develop data products, self-serve tools, and internal BI tools for product, finance, marketing, and go-to-market teams.
• Create quantitative models for forecasting and experimentation.
• Own the A/B testing infrastructure used to evaluate product and business hypotheses.
• Lead analytics projects with substantial autonomy and cross-functional impact.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud services for data processing, warehousing, and orchestration.
• Experience establishing accurate metrics with analytical rigor and maintaining data integrity.
• Ability to drive data-informed decision-making and define rigorous data requirements based on business needs.
• Knowledge of statistical methods, time-series forecasting, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with database internals and reliable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience optimizing queries and data systems for performance and cost.
