Security and Compliance Coordinator

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois, United States; onsite work in an office and manufacturing environment

Salary: $80,000 per year plus eligibility for an annual bonus

What you will do

• Coordinate physical security vendors, service calls, preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, and issue follow-up for access control, CCTV, alarms, intrusion detection, and related systems.
• Maintain logical and cryptographic key-management activities, custodian records, encryption documentation, and compliance evidence.
• Schedule and document recurring security inspections, testing, reviews, and remediation deadlines.
• Support internal, customer, certification, and third-party audits by gathering evidence, coordinating walkthroughs, and tracking follow-up actions.
• Maintain the site Business Continuity Plan and coordinate tabletop exercises, lessons learned, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Facilities, IT, Operations, Quality, HR, Internal Audit, vendors, auditors, and managers on security and compliance activities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in physical security, security compliance, audit support, facilities security, or a related operational role.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Familiarity with access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion detection, alarms, locks, and key-control programs.
• Ability to maintain accurate recurring records, inspection schedules, compliance documentation, and follow-up items.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong communication, organization, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Flexible schedule required; periodic overtime, weekend, or off-shift work may be necessary. Ability to work around machinery, manufacturing noise, secured areas, and required PPE is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience in secure manufacturing, payment card, personalization, identification, or another regulated/high-security environment.
• Familiarity with PCI, GSMA, ISO, NASPO, SOC, or comparable standards.
• Experience with logical or cryptographic key management, encryption controls, vendor coordination, or compliance documentation.
• Associate's degree or relevant security/compliance training.
