Cost Engineer-Estimator

Location: Remote from Georgia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Montenegro, or Uzbekistan; full-time schedule aligned with New York time, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.

What you will do

• Review architectural drawings and submitted quotes to determine installation options for glass, aluminum, and steel partition systems.
• Perform quantity take-offs for door and partition openings using architectural and shop drawings.
• Interpret door schedules, hardware sets, and layouts to select compatible products.
• Prepare detailed quotes covering materials, scope of work, exclusions, assumptions, and conditions.
• Coordinate with sales to clarify project scope, technical requirements, and deadlines.
• Request compliance and regulatory documentation, identify technical errors, and propose suitable alternatives.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineering, or proven Engineer/Estimator experience.
• Experience performing quantity take-offs from construction and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret civil and mechanical drawings, hardware sets, and layouts.
• Strong spatial thinking, technical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including basic formulas, and comfort working with scaled PDFs in Adobe Acrobat.
• Fluent Russian and Upper-intermediate English at B2 level or higher; availability for 8:30 AM–5:00 PM New York time.
