Senior Software Engineer (Go)

Location: Remote - Canada

Annual base salary: CA$131,000–CA$165,000, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Deliver business-critical product contributions to a Go-based, cross-OS endpoint agent platform.
• Develop cloud microservice components using Go and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize software for performance, scale, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Mentor engineers and lead complex cross-functional projects.
• Define technical solutions aligned with business objectives and communicate progress clearly.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Go development experience.
• Experience building and maintaining cloud microservices with Go and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming secure, scalable, fault-tolerant REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Experience with Agile development, sprint planning, initiative breakdown, and team alignment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.

Nice to have

• Security best practices in Windows environments, including API security, sensitive data handling, OAuth, and JWT.
• Experience delivering robust cross-platform applications.
