Senior Regulatory Policy Specialist (Financial Regulation)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements.

Salary: $112,300–$202,500 for Washington, DC. Additional discretionary bonus may be available.

What you will do

• Support Regulatory Policy and Capital Markets attorneys with SEC rule filings, related documents, citations, and regulatory notices.
• Research and analyze issues under federal securities laws, hirify.global rules, and other relevant market regulations.
• Draft memoranda, comment summaries, responses to comments, Board Action Items, and other regulatory materials.
• Manage project timelines, status reports, rule filing publication, issue resolution, and sensitive regulatory projects.
• Coordinate with the Office of Regulatory Economics and Market Analysis on economic impact assessments.
• Represent the department in task forces and projects, respond to inquiries, and support the training and supervision of regulatory analysts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Required experience providing legal support in administrative law, financial regulation, or a similar environment.
• Strong interpersonal, written communication, analytical, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of federal securities laws and advanced knowledge of hirify.global rules, regulations, and procedures are strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of tracking and reporting systems, plus proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Lexis, and Westlaw.
• Employees must comply with hirify.global investment and securities account restrictions, disclosure obligations, confidentiality requirements, and the Employee Confidentiality and Invention Assignment Agreement.

• Postgraduate courses or a postgraduate degree.
• Experience supporting international regulatory initiatives.
