Corporate & Institutional Banking Undergraduate Intern – Commercial & Corporate Banking (West) (Finance)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; in-office role

Base salary: $18.00–$35.00

What you will do

• Support experienced bankers in advising, managing, and servicing commercial and corporate clients.
• Assist client teams and business lines with deal, sales, process-support, and customer-interaction activities.
• Gain exposure to commercial banking, corporate banking, healthcare, specialty industries, public finance, and credit products.
• Support loan structuring, transaction underwriting, and loan portfolio management activities through the Credit Products Group.
• Participate in mentoring, job shadowing, networking, community outreach, classroom learning, and a case study.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-relevant major such as finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics, management, or a related field.
• Current sophomore or junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, initiative, adaptability, and self-directed development.
• Must work in the Chicago office; employment visa sponsorship and STEM OPT participation are not provided.
